OUR STORY

The room we built for quiet.

A sanctuary shaped around a single conviction: that human touch only heals when both hands in the room have all the time in the world.

CHAPTER I · ORIGIN
“We opened because we needed it ourselves.”

For over a decade, our founders worked inside high-volume hotel spas where practitioners were given seven minutes to strip linens, reset oil warmers, and greet the next guest with a rehearsed smile. Even the finest bodywork felt subtly breathless.

In the autumn of 2019, we leased a tucked-away courtyard carriage house lined with old-growth cedar and lime plaster. We limited each practitioner to three sessions a day, banished reception desks and ringing telephones, and began treating rest not as a luxury transaction, but as a quiet daily ritual.

CHAPTER II · THE SPACE

“Warm wood. Soft light. Silent phones.”

CHAPTER III · THE HANDS

Practitioners who listen through touch.

Every therapist at Still Point brings at least a decade of clinical anatomy, myofascial release, or Eastern meridian study.

Because our practitioners see no more than three guests per day, the hands that greet you are rested, unhurried, and wholly attentive.
