Historic Restoration & Enamels
A Decade of Excellence
Transforming Metro Homes and Commercial Spaces Since 2014
FreshCoat Painting Co. was founded in 2014 by Master Craftsman Mateo Alvarez. After spending over a decade managing high-end restoration projects for historic Victorians, Mateo grew frustrated by the trade’s standard practices: rushed surface preparation, harsh chemical paint fumes, and hidden pricing surprises.
He founded FreshCoat with a simple, uncompromising promise: treat painting as an exact science where surface prep is paramount, use exclusively zero-VOC eco-conscious formulations, and provide binding upfront quotes that never change midway through a job.
Today, FreshCoat has completed more than 3,500 residential and commercial transformations across the metro region. Our team of 24 licensed career painters, color stylists, and spray technicians operates out of our flagship Artisan Boulevard design studio, bringing museum-grade finishes to homes of every size.
