This Cookie Policy explains how SparkleCharge (sparklecharge.org) uses cookies and similar browser storage technologies, what each cookie does, and how you can control your preferences at any time.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember your session state, protect forms against Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF), and remember your privacy choices.
2. Essential Cookies (Always Active)
Essential cookies are strictly necessary for the security, authentication, and core operation of SparkleCharge. Because the website and portals cannot function securely without them, they cannot be disabled:
| Cookie Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
SPARKLE_SESS / PHPSESSID |
Maintains your active visitor session and stores cryptographic CSRF protection tokens for contact and inquiry forms. | Session |
SPARKLE_CLIENT_SESS |
Maintains authenticated Client Portal sessions in an isolated cookie context. | Session / Login duration |
SPARKLE_ADMIN_SESS |
Maintains authenticated Administrator sessions in an isolated cookie context. | Session |
sparkle_consent |
Stores your Cookie Preference Center choices (Essential, Analytics, Marketing) and consent token so you are not prompted on every page load. | 12 Months (1 Year) |
3. Optional Cookies (Analytics & Marketing)
Optional cookies are only activated if you choose to enable them in our Cookie Preference Center:
- Analytics Cookies (First-Party): Help us measure aggregate page views, scroll depth, and navigation flows using SparkleCharge's self-hosted analytics engine. All visitor IP addresses are cryptographically hashed, and data never leaves our server.
- Marketing Cookies: Used only if enabled to remember campaign attribution or tailor relevant case study and service announcements.
4. Third-Party Cookies (None by Default)
SparkleCharge does not set third-party advertising, retargeting, or cross-site tracking cookies by default. If you click an external link (such as a Google Drive deliverable link in the Client Portal), that external service is governed by its own cookie and privacy policies.
5. How to Manage Your Cookie Preferences
You can review, accept, reject non-essential cookies, or customize your preferences at any time by clicking the button below or using the "Cookie Settings" link in the website footer:
🍪 Open Cookie Preference Center
Your consent preferences automatically expire after 12 months, at which point we will re-confirm your choices. You may also clear or block cookies at any time using your browser settings.
6. Questions & Contact
If you have any questions about our use of cookies, please email [email protected].
